An Articles of Merger also known as Certificate of Merger or Merger Agreement are business agreements designed to combine two or more entities into a single surviving entity. This process is complex and typically involves filing applications with several government agencies.

The content of the Articles of Merger and the specific filing requirements vary from state to state. Therefore, it is essential to review the statues governing business entities in each of the states involved in the constituent entities (including the surviving entity).
